BETTAIR-LAMP will address the delicate topic of indoor air quality through the combination of smart design of consumer goods as wall-lamps and the use of an eco-innovative material with enhanced anti-pollutant and antibacterial properties, obtained thanks to Titanium and other materials added in specific proportions and conditions. The innovative BETTAIR-LAMP material, already developed, certified and demonstrated, is used to design and produce hundreds of cutting- edge daily life design-based consumer products such as primarily wall-lamps and also bathroom furnishings, ornaments and furniture resulting in outstanding benefits for human health.

Development of activities, timely delivery of reports, to provide timely and efficient administrative and financial co-ordination of the project, to foresee and manage any risk and barrier related to the project execution.
Creative design of the innovative BETTAIR-LAMPs to be subsequently realized and introduced into the market. Buzzi & Buzzi will design the wall-lamps lines for 3 market segments, namely low, medium and top ranges in the lighting fixture.
The design activity is central. It is targeted to break the residual technical barriers and guarantee lowest process costs to meet market target prices. The BETTAIR-LAMP material finalization in order to optimize the exact material formulation for applications both to wall-lamps and to the other 3 targeted design-based sectors.
This phase has the main objective to break the residual market barriers by the installations of the finalized wall-lamps at 3 host organizations. Measurements will be performed in terms of purified air quality, assessing the concentrations of (from bacterial and pollutants before and after the installation of BETTAIR-LAMPs) to showcase to consumers the achieved targets and the huge potentialities of the wall-lamps to human health and environment. Moreover, besides technical testing activities, the objective will be the assessment of stakeholders perception of the innovative design based products in terms of users’ insight and usability.
The BETTAIR-LAMP European Roadshow realization, stakeholders engagement and a wide pan European audience reached, other dissemination activities performed, are essential activities to communicate in the exact terms the benefits introduced by the innovative BETTAIR-LAMP COSME project to pave the way for a rapid and successful market introduction and market replication in the other 3 targetted sectors over the lighting fixture.
